Dachstein Höhlen-Geheimnisse |
The fascination of the Dachstein is also what it conceals. A total of around 250 kilometres of mysterious paths through caves and the oldest salt mine in the world run through its very heart.
The Dachstein ice cave, the Mammut cave, the Koppenbrüller cave and, naturally, also the Salzwelten reveal their mysteries to all those who cannot resist the call of this underground world of adventure.
Discover sparkling icebergs, underground halls of fossils dating back to primeval times, bizarre stalactite formations, archaic murals, shimmering salt crystals, the “man in the salt” in a Hallstatt-period salt mine and so much more!
