Hiking along pastures in Gosau
Iglmoosalm The Iglmoosalm is very popular amongst hikers.
You can reach it either the easy way by means of the “Gosau slow train” or by taking a one-and-a-half-hour walk from Gosau Mittertal (path 880).

 The Plankensteinalm with its Leutgeb and Woferl lodges
is the largest unbroken area of alpine pastures in the Inner Salzkammergut. You can reach this unique natural landscape either the easy way via the “Gosau slow train” or by engaging in a three-and-a-half-hour hike from Gosau Mittertal (path 511) or Gosau Hintertal (path 644).

 Tour from Rossalm to the Durchgangalm, path 648-644
Walking time, Start in the Klaushof part of Gosau, and hike across the Rossalm and Durchgangalm approximately 5 hours to Hallstatt. The Salzberg railway returns you to the valley. Don’t miss the charnel house or the museum in Hallstatt.
