Gjaidalm
Walking time, The Gjaidalm, at an altitude of 1,740 metres above sea level, is the perfect starting approx. 3 to 4 hours point for many hikes to the Dachstein plateau, including the well-loved hike to the Zwölferkogel, a magnificent mountain with a view of Lake Hallstatt. This path is marked in a large bow, and requires between three and four hours to cover. We also recommend a hike to the Simony lodge on the edge of the Hallstatt Dachstein glacier and the Wiesberghaus on the way down towards Hallstatt.
