WITH RUCKSACK AND KIDS

Families have their very own demands when it comes to organising their
leisure time on holiday. To be more precise: they have various needs which are fulfilled for at least four days with this tour. It is likely that the younger members of the family will be happy with their kids’ rucksacks. A trip with the Salzberg cable car, the ascent to the Krippenstein or a guided tour of the ice cave at the latest guarantee astonishment from both parents and kids alike. Stories are a further integral part of the tour, and Toni, landlord of a lodge, tells the ones best describing the life of a mountain guide. If in

ITINERARY, DAY 1: Salt mine
Enjoy the trip to the oldest salt mine in the world as well as the guided tour of such. On the way there and back, the kids are largely busy with the treasure hunt. Following the trip into the valley with the Salzberg cable car, a Salzberg snack awaits you in the Hirlatz restaurant.

ITINERARY, DAY 2:

KRIPPENSTEIN - “5FINGERS”
The Dachstein cable car takes you to the Krippenstein, where you take a half-hour hike, enjoying the breath-taking “view of the World Heritage” as you go. A true test of courage for the parents - “hovering” on the “5fingers”, at an altitude in excess of 500 m. Partake of your hard-earned hiking snack in the “Lodge”. Maybe you’ll even find the huskies at home, and Toni, the landlord, can keep you entertained with his tales. A stretch towards the valley, and then the kids enjoy the guided tour of the ice cave, accompanied by Rabia, the witch. Return to the valley by cable car. Enjoy another hiking snack in the “Haus am See” hotel.
